Make potatoes and cut into thin slices. Form a layer of potatoes in a gratin dish and layer sliced raw mushrooms and very finely chopped onions. The top layer should be potatoes. Season everything together with nutmeg, pour the whipped cream on top and bake for about 20 minutes at 175 °C. If you use raw potatoes, then bake for about 1 hour.
