Thoroughly clean and pit the cherries.
Cream the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Gradually add the eggs. Finally, mix in the milk and flour.
Line a baking pan with baking paper. Spread the batter on it and top with the cherries.
Bake the cake at 180 °C for approx. 30 minutes.
Preparation Tip:
The cake can also be baked with other fruit.
