For the potato mush cut the peeled potatoes into pieces, put them in a saucepan, pour water until they are covered and season with salt.
In a pan, toast the rye flour, but do not let it burn. Sprinkle the roasted flour over the potatoes and bring to a boil. Boil for 15 minutes, drain the water, mix the potatoes well with the flour.
Cut bacon into cubes and stir into potato mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour into a form and gratinate the potato mush in the oven.
