Instructions:

First, divide the puff pastry into 12 pieces. Peel, core and coarsely grate the apples. Mix with sugar and cinnamon and spread on the center of the puff pastry pieces.

Brush all around with beaten egg and fold together.

Line a baking tray with baking paper, place the apple pockets on it, brush with egg and sprinkle with hail sugar.

Bake the apple pockets at 200 °C for 20 minutes until golden brown.

Preparation Tip:

Refine the apple pockets with a little vanilla. Enjoy either warm or cold.
