For the banana empanadas, prepare puff pastry according to instructions, cut into 10×10 cm squares and brush with liquefied butter.

Peel and dice bananas and drizzle with honey and lime juice. Grate chocolate and break into pieces and mix into banana mixture.

Preheat oven to 180°C. Place the chocolate-banana mixture on the dough squares and then fold them over to form triangular shapes. Make sure that the edges are well and tightly closed.

Place the triangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes. Mix the powdered sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the finished banana empanadas and serve immediately.

Preparation Tip:

If you don't like cinnamon, you can sprinkle the banana empanadas with just powdered sugar.
