Instructions:

1. remove the crust from the gray bread and cut with 5/6 of the pumpernickel into pieces of about 3 x 3 cm.

Mash the Camenbert with a fork and mix it with half of the room-warm butter.

Cut the ham into very fine cubes and mix with the remaining butter.

4. spread the bread pieces alternately with the different creams and assemble 5 slices at a time.

5. mix the cream cheese with the milk and pepper and spread it all around the bread cubes.

Crumble the remaining pumpernickel and roll half of the bread cubes in it. Garnish with olives and parsley. 7.

Roll the other half of the cubes in the grated hazelnuts and garnish with walnut halves.

The bread “chocolates” look especially good when served in praline molds.

Tip: It’s best to use your favorite ham – then your dish will taste twice as good!
