For the buttermilk wheat sticks, knead a yeast dough from the given ingredients. Then cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.

Knead the dough again and divide it into 4 equal parts. Form a roll from each of the parts, flatten it a bit and place it on a baking tray.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C. Cover the sticks again and let them rise for 20 minutes. Place an ovenproof dish with water in the stove and bake the sticks in the oven for about 20 minutes until golden and lightly browned.
