For the cheese sticks, defrost puff pastry according to instructions and roll out to about half a cm thick. Whisk yolk and milk, brush puff pastry with it.

Sprinkle cheese on one half of the pastry, sprinkle paprika and pepper on top, fold over the other half of the pastry and roll over it a few times with a rolling pin.

Cut dough into 1 cm thick strips, twist into spirals and place on baking sheet rinsed with cold water.

Preheat the oven to 220 °C-240 °C. Brush the cheese sticks with the remaining yolk, sprinkle with caraway seeds, poppy seeds or salt.

Bake the cheese sticks for 15 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

The cheese sticks also taste delicious with fresh rosemary.
