Instructions:

Grind coconut and lightly roll in water for 5 min.

In the meantime, heat sugar in milk, stirring continuously until sugar is dissolved.

Melt cornflour starch in a little water and add to the milk.

Drain the water from the cooked coconut and add to the milk as well. Stir everything together well, bring to a boil and season with salt and rum.

Pour into a custard dish, cool and perhaps turn out before serving.

Serving tips: This goes very well with a chocolate sauce or possibly various fruits.
