For the herb crostini with mushroom paste, cut white bread into slices about 1-1.5 cm thick. For the mushroom paste, drain the canned mushrooms well and then grind them in a food processor with a handful of parsley, the peeled onion and some garlic until it reaches a fine consistency.

Now prepare the herb butter. To do this, mix butter , margarine and olive oil in a container. Put the mixture in the microwave for about 30 seconds, at 700 watts, to make it smooth.

Chop the fresh herbs and garlic as small as possible and add them to the butter mixture together with the other herbs and spices. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Wait until the herb butter has cooled down a bit and is nice and spreadable. Now spread the prepared bread slices with the herb butter and bake in the oven at about 200 degrees in about 7 minutes, until the herb crostini with mushroom paste are crispy.
