Instructions:

Heat the lentils.

Fry the bacon cubes in a small dish, add the onion and cook until translucent. Add lentils and root vegetables and fill up with water. Add parsley, bay leaf spice and thyme sprig on top. Simmer gently until lentils are tender. Season with pepper, salt, vinegar and sugar. Remove bay spice and thyme sprig. Add the cooked and finely chopped root vegetables to the lentils form and sprinkle with parsley.

Cook the sausages in the lentils until hot.
