For the mulled wine cake, beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar with a hand mixer. Gradually add the eggs, stir until creamy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the dough. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (convection oven 150 °C). Grease the baking tray. Heat the red wine in a pot with the mulled wine spice and let it steep for 5 minutes. Stir 125 ml mulled wine with 150 g chocolate into the dough. Spread the batter on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for about 25 to 30 minutes. Then leave to cool. Mix the remaining mulled wine with the powdered sugar and coat the cake with it.

Cut the mulled wine cake into cubes and sprinkle with the remaining grated chocolate.
