Chop the onion and chop the celery. Sauté together in butter until colorless. Sprinkle with flour and sauté briefly. Extinguish with soup. Cut a lid from a pear 3-4 cm below the stem and brush the cut surface with the juice of a lemon. Set aside for garnish. Quarter the rest of the pears unpeeled, core and cut into pieces. Add to soup with rosemary. Stew gently for 20 min.

Remove rosemary. Whisk soup with a hand blender until creamy. Add cream. Bring to a boil. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. Keep warm. Roast bacon in a coated frying pan until crispy. Drain on kitchen roll. Pour soup into warmed plates. Score pear sections diagonally. Insert bacon. Place in soup as garnish.
