Pasta dishes are always a good idea!

1. onions and perhaps garlic peel and chop finely. Clean carrots, rinse, chop coarsely except for one.

2. heat butter in a saucepan. Sauté onions, carrot pieces and perhaps garlic in it. Add canned tomatoes with juice to saucepan, bring to a boil and simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes.

Cook the pasta in enough boiling salted water for about 10 minutes.

Clean tomatoes, rinse, halve, remove seeds and dice. Finely dice remaining carrot as well. Rinse basil and pluck leaves. 4.

Grind the tomato-carrot mixture in a saucepan. Fold in whipped cream and basil and briefly lightly roll. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper. 5.

Drain pasta and serve with sauce. Sprinkle with carrots and diced tomatoes.
