Make potatoes with peel 20 min. Peel off the skin. Cut peeled onions into cubes. Chop washed dill. Flour and salt on the surface form. Add oil and potatoes mashed between fingers. Gradually add a quart of water and knead the whole thing with your hands. At the end, knead in onions and dill. Divide the dough into ten portions. Roll out each piece of dough into a circle (about 15 cm in diameter). Bake each patty in hot ghee for about five minutes on each side.

Serve with: mint paste, mango chutney, orange or possibly lemon marmalade, apple puree or possibly herb curd.
