Rinse the cutlets, dry them and fry them in the hot light butter for 2 min on both sides until brown. Place in an ovenproof dish.

Peel, dice and fry the onions in the frying fat, place over the cutlets.

Rinse and peel potatoes and carrots. Cut both into thin slices and season with salt, pepper and crushed pimento seeds. Layer on top of the cutlets. Add bay leaf seasoning and beer.
