For the sauerkraut-cheese spaetzle from the hot air fryer, first mix all ingredients for the dough and let it swell.

Coarsely grate the cheese. Peel and finely chop the onion.

Heat the oil and sauté the onion in it. Add the cabbage and some water and season with salt, pepper and cumin. Simmer for about 10-15 minutes.

In a pot, bring water to a boil and add salt. Grate the dough into the water with a spaetzle slicer and simmer until the spaetzle float to the surface. Strain.

Place half of the spaetzle in the baking dish, followed by a layer of cabbage, followed by the remaining spaetzle. Sprinkle the cheese on top.

Bake the sauerkraut-cheese spaetzle for about 10 minutes at 180 °C in the Philips Airfryer hot air fryer.

Preparation Tip:

Use a cheese of your own taste for the sauerkraut cheese spaetzle from the hot air fryer. Especially spicy cheeses, such as Parmesan or Gruyère, fit excellently here.
