Instructions:

For the gratinated minced patties, dice the rolls and soak in milk. Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Wash, dry and finely chop the parsley. Dice or grate the cheese very finely.

Knead all this with the eggs into the minced meat. Season the dough with salt and pepper and form into 8 loaves. Fry in hot butter on both sides. Put the loaves together on a baking tray.

For gratinating, cut the tomatoes into thin slices and spread them evenly on the loaves, covering each with a slice of cheese. Put the baking tray in the oven preheated to 225 °C on the top shelf and bake the meatballs until the cheese melts.

Season the baked minced meatballs with paprika and serve.

Preparation Tip:

Serve the gratinated minced meatballs with puree and/ or salad. Instead of Emmental you can also use another cheese.
