For the savory muffins, cream butter, add eggs. Cut ham into cubes, chop herbs and add to egg-butter mixture.

Cut tomato into small cubes and add to the mixture with sour cream and parmesan. Mix flour with baking powder and sift into the remaining ingredients.

Season to taste with spices and stir. Place muffin cups in the wells of the muffin tray and pour in the mixture. Bake in the preheated oven at 170 °C for about 25 minutes.

Preparation Tip:

For the vegetarian version, simply omit the ham. With bacon, the savory muffins get a slightly heartier note. Wrfelig cut peppers or corn can be added as well.
