For the Spitzbuben, quickly knead all ingredients into a shortcrust dough and let it rest in the refrigerator, wrapped in plastic wrap, for about 1/2 hour. Roll out the dough and cut out the cookies.

Bake in a preheated oven at 160 °C for about 5-8 minutes. Assemble the cooled cookies with jam and dust the Spitzbuben with powdered sugar as desired.
