For the strawberry-almond cake in a jar, remove the stalk from the strawberries and mash them with a fork.

Separate the eggs, beat the egg yolks with the butter until foamy and beat the egg whites with the sugar until firm.Mix the almonds, flour and cornflour well and mix into the egg-butter mixture. Gently fold in the strawberries around the beaten egg whites.

Fill the cake mixture about half way up into Weck glasses and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 30 to 40 minutes.Decorate the strawberry-almond cake in the glass with some whipped cream and a strawberry before serving.
