For the walnut-apple bread, peel the apples and remove the core. Coarsely grate into a sieve, let stand a little and then squeeze. (Collect apple juice for something else – to drink yourself right away, for example).

Mix flour and pure tartar baking powder. Coarsely chop walnut kernels. Put the grated apples in a mixing bowl, add the flour mixture, cinnamon, orange zest, coconut blossom sugar and cider and knead well.

Grease a loaf pan and sprinkle with flour. Place the bread in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius and bake for about 30 minutes, then turn the heat down to 180 degrees Celsius and bake for another 25 – 35 minutes, until the test with a stick shows that the bread is cooked through.

Let the walnut-apple bread cool on a rack.

The walnut-apple bread keeps fresh wrapped in aluminum foil for at least a week.
