For Wan Tan with beef, sauté the mushrooms in a little sesame oil. Deglaze with teriyaki marinade and let steam until the liquid has evaporated. Let cool down a bit.
Mix well minced meat, garlic, ginger, onion, a little sesame oil, spices and soy sauce. Add the mushrooms and chili to taste and mix well again.
Thaw wan tan sheets, use a coffee spoon to put the mixture on top. Brush the edges of the pastry sheets with egg and twist or press together.
Layer the finished wan tan on a perforated tray coated with sesame oil and cook in a steamer at 100 degrees for 12 minutes.
Serve the wan tan with beef with soy sauce and sweet chili sauce.

Wan Tan with beef can be wonderfully prepared and are therefore perfect for the party buffet or as a small appetizer. As an alternative to beef, wan tan can also be filled with many other ingredients.
